*rubs eyes*

So this is the wide world of weblogging eh?

You know, I've said many times that I'm going to start one of these things.  It always ends up working the same way.  I get the idea. I sign up for the account.  The shiny thing appears somewhere (figuratively speaking, of course), and my focus is completely lost!  That is all about to change...I hope.

2007 ended with quite the bang for me.  I can't really explain why it happened, but many things occurred to me.  I realized that I would be moving on with my life in a short five months.  The questions at Thanksgiving were the same as they were 4 years ago at this time...

"So what are you doing after graduation?"

Upon hearing that question, I began to think of all the possibilities in front of me. There are certain things I'm so ready to do. And there are certain things that will impossible for me to leave behind.   Some of these things will be impossible to take with me.  But I'm hoping I haven't come to the realizations I have too late.  One thing I definitely want to get on track with is my relationship with Jesus.  Ever since I've become a Christian, I've had a tough time with the idea of trusting Him with my life.  I know that sounds ridiculous, especially to those of you who know how I ended up at Waynesburg.  It hurts so badly inside to let go and try and let Jesus lead me, but change isn't possible without pain.  The crucifiction is proof enough of that.

I'm not sure what I want this blog to be.  I may feel like telling a story.  Living with 7 other guys provides me with plenty of opportunities for a good laugh!  My main focus is logging my last semester at Waynesburg University so that I'll never forget or take it for granted.  Throwing in a poem every now and then isn't out of the question either.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show! Hey...what's that shiny thing over there....
